By far the issue has been connection errors affecting matchmaking, especially. The problems were reported almost once the R6 Credits upgrade arrived, and yet continue to cause problems. Ubisoft has provided workarounds involving changing your DNS into Google ones, but the potency of this was contested from the community.

Ubisoft does not appear to know why this matter is happening in the first place. In a statement on Reddit with a Ubisoft Community Manager, it is claimed that Ubisoft is"in the process of doing [their] extreme ] to get a solution for your matchmaking errors".

Second, Ubisoft has had to buy R6 Items reverse a wave of bans, after it was discovered that a number of innocent players were banned for boosting. For boosting all players who were awarded a 15-day suspension have experienced their own bans reversed, and nearer investigations were carried out to ascertain who and who was not wrongfully suspended. Individuals found guilty while innocent gamers will receive a 30-day Renown Booster, had suspensions reinstated later this week.
