Philippine Airlines to Launch Direct Manila-Sapporo Route Effective October 8, 2018, the 4-star Philippine Airlines (PAL) will commence its service between Manila and Sapporo – capital of Hokkaido, Japan. Home to snowy climate, winter sports, and fantastic cuisine, Sapporo attracts millions of tourists every year. PAL will operate the service for thrice-a-week using its brand new A321neo aircraft. The direct Manila Sapporo flight will take six hours approximately. Currently, the airline is flying to Fukuoka, Haikou, Nagoya, Kansai, and Tokyo. Philippine Airlines Receives 4-Star rating from APEX APEX – the New York-based Airline Passenger Experience Association has rated Philippine Airlines or PAL as it is famously known as with 4 star ratings.
