Have you ever been told to do with conscious breathing and deep breathing but you end up coughing or feeling hyped up? What is an easiest way or the most proper way out? What is the most suitable way to do conscious breathing without stressing yourself? It is an exercise meant to relax you thus it does not have many ifs and buts.

All you need to do is to silence your mind first, which is the hardest one, stop thinking or over thinking whatever is bothering you. Then gently focus on the slowing your exhalations while your inhalations will expand your belly. You must feel the breath rising up to your rib cage. The air should spread in your body and you must very feebly feel it go all the way around within your body. You must also close your eyes or at least soften your gaze.

The most important thing is not to think anything particular. Our mind is a running machine to emphasise a particular action it does not stop just add on to the process of what is already going on in it. You got to hold on to that process.

It is a fact that when we try to slower our breath, the PSNS or the Parasympathetic nervous system is turned on. This is the counter nervous system to the fight or flight nervous system. During conscious breathing or tracking of the breath exercise the stress chemicals of the body cortisol or adrenaline is stopped from being released. The blood vessels expand to increase oxygenation of the cells

Conscious breathing or deep breathing does not actually is a step to step process, it is about biologically knowing the interior of the body.  You don’t have to put much head into it, just close your eyes and start your journey of relaxation!
