One mistake most of the students do after passing class 12 is to follow the crowd. It happens because they are not aware about the course available after 12 for different stream.

 You may have heard about many courses for science stream students after 12th but courses after 12th for commerce students are not so popular. Here we will tell you about the best course after 12th for commerce students.

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants   (ACCA)

ACCA is a global professional body for chartered accountants. It’s a certification course. ACCA qualification helps to develop a career in the accounts and finance department globally. The minimum eligibility to apply for ACCA is 10+2 with commerce. The student must score 65% in at least two subjects and 50% in other subjects. ACCA includes both practical and theory in its syllabus. Graduate and undergraduate students can apply for this certificate. Students can complete this course within 2 years.

Company Secretary (CS)

CS is a 3 years professional course administrated by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSE). The course of Company Secretary provides knowledge about the modern concept of accounting. To get the CS certification students to need to clear the Foundation Program, Executive Program, and Professional Program. Students can appear in Foundation program after 10+2 with commerce. The duration of CS is 3-4 years.

Charted Accountant (CA)   

The course duration of CA is 5 years. After 10+2 with commerce students can go for CA.  After 10+2 students can appear in the CA Foundation course. After completion of the Fundamental course, students can appear in the Intermediate Course. Students in their last year of graduation can appear in the Intermediate Course of CA.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)

Duration of B.Com is 3 years. For students after 10+2 with commerce, B.Com is a traditional course after 12th for commerce students. A large number of students apply for B.Com course after their 10+2. The course ingredients of B.Com include advanced studies of accounting and finance. In B.Com students can understand the accounting concepts for companies.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)  

The duration of this course is 3 years. BBA is a professional course after 12th for commerce students. It’s not mandatory for the students to clear 10+2 with commerce only but specialization in this subject is an advantage for students.
