The safe road to school

How to cross the street correctly? How to behave near the roadway? How to travel safely by car? These and other issues were the subjects of our students' meeting with representatives of the Municipal Police Headquarters.

An additional attraction for the youngest children was learning to cross the pedestrian crossing under the care of officers of the Municipal Police Headquarters. However, before the children arrived at the scene, they were given the most important rules of road behavior. Then a practical lesson started and every couple dressed in reflective vests accompanied by police representatives passed through the belts across the street. Of course, it was not without the police lollipop, which was stopped, drivers.

During the classes, children observed the behavior of other road users. They learned among other things, that you cannot ride a bicycle through a pedestrian crossing, and how dangerous it is for pedestrians to ride without the light on in the vehicles or go out without wearing a vest with the reflective fabric at night. Police representatives also recalled how to safely travel by car. The students, however, pledged to observe all rules and pass them on to other road users, especially to their parents.

At the end of the meeting, children received from "Ants" glowing pendants for backpacks, coloring books, bookmarks, sweets, and other gifts.

Later on, our older students participated in the talk. They were made aware of the risks they could face on their way to school and school, and were shown how to avoid them.

We also thank Mrs. Anna for joining in any action promoting safe road behavior. Thank you also for all gifts. Thanks to the reflective materials, children will be even more visible to drivers in the autumn and winter, and the Ant mascot will remind them of it.
