Police officers shined on pedestrians as well

Traffic security events took place in Liberec.

"We wanted to highlight this traffic accident, we talked about the problem with the driver and, after the end of the traffic control, we passed the reflective vest for the co-driver. At least one reflective jacket had every checked driver in the car. "said police spokesman Ivan.

In both cities, police officers detected 24 offenses. "Two were driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, three others did not use the seat belt or did not have a vehicle in proper technical condition," added Ivan.

As well as the safety of drivers, while leaving the car, the policemen were also interested in the safety of pedestrians moving in low visibility outside the village on the roadside. The law imposes an obligation to have retro-reflective fabrics placed on their clothing so that they are visible to other operators.
