Aeroplane with 188 passengers crashed in Java Sea near Indonesia

 According to Zoom News, In Indonesia, a passenger plane crashed into the sea this night. It is a device from low-cost airline Lion Air that was travelling from capital Jakarta to Pangkal Pinang on the island of Bangka.

According to the Indonesian Ministry of Transport, 188 people were on board the aircraft. The crashed plane is a Boeing type 737 MAX 8, which has the capacity for more than 150 people.

Among the occupants were seven crew members and 181 passengers, including three children. Nothing is known about their condition yet.

The plane would have disappeared from the radar thirteen minutes after taking off in Jakarta.

The Indonesian rescue service reports that the wreckage of the aircraft is located at about 25 kilometres from the airport.

"We found life jackets, cell phones and parts of the plane," says Muhammad Syaugii of the Indonesian rescue service.

It is suspected that the hull of the Boeing 737 MAX 8 lies at a depth of approximately 35 meters on the seabed.
