How To Clean The Vertical Blinds At Home Without Taking Them Down

Definitely, no one likes dusty and ragged blinds which are not getting the proper attention of the home owner. However, cleaning of vertical blinds is very troublesome and messy job. Along with, it is very hard to get the glaze and finish back. Here are some full proof cleaning tips where you don't need to go under the burden of taking down the blinds.

Before indulging in the cleaning process, here are some points which you need to keep in mind.

• If you clean the blinds regularly, then you may barely need to have the deep cleaning.

• For frequent dusting at home, use the brush attachment of the vacuum cleaner.

Dusting: For the process, you will need a duster and any easily available enzyme spray. It is better to use a duster which has the capability to lift the dust from the blinds. You can consider ostrich feather duster or any artificial duster for the purpose. You have to spray on the blinds in order to loosen the dust, and then from the top to down, run the duster thoroughly. You can repeat the slide or replace the duster with additional spray if required.

You need vacuum cleaner (brush attachment), natural woolen duster, dry cleaning sponge, soft cloth and spray cleaner. Fill up the bucket with water and few drops of the detergent and place it under the blinds to save the floor from water droplets. Now dip the cleaning tool in water and every clean single blind carefully. You can repeat the procedure with clean water. Finally, leave it to dry naturally.
