The Right-arm fast-medium swing and seam bowler Mohammed Shami represents Bengal in domestic cricket. He is a fast bowler and is also known as a reverse swing specialist.

Mohammed Shami was a part of India’s Test and ODI squads in their recently concluded series against West Indies. Pacer Mohammed Shami revealed that they are preparing for the Australia series by watching videos of their opponents in order to get the line and length right.

During the India tour of England, 2018, the Pacers performed well but the batsmen let them down to lose the series 1-4.

Mohammed Shami said, “As a fast bowling unit, we did well in England. We are preparing for the Australia series and watching a lot of videos. The plan is to focus on the series as much as possible as the opponents are very strong. We will work on getting the line and length right,”.

Shami believes that Winning or losing depends on luck but they will try to do their best and give their 100 percent.

The India vs Australia Tour will start from 21 November at The Gabba, Brisbane with the first T20I of three-match T20 International Series, followed by four-match Test Series starting from December 6 at Adelaide and the tour will conclude with three-match One Day International Series, being third ODI in Melbourne on 18 January 2019.

Australia’s key players Steve Smith and David Warner may return as their year-long ban due to ball-tampering may be called off for this series. On them, Shami told if the duo won't play then definitely it will make Australia Team weak. But in the end, they will have to stick to their plans and work on their strengths.

On World Cup 2019, Shami told that his performance will be evaluated and he will expect to get a chance to play if he does well. But that is far away and his focus right now is on Australia Tour.
