My name is Hisham Alsaeed, and I am currently studying at Butler Community College. My major is pre-engineering, and I have been enjoying my study. The school is great, and also the people are fantastic. I love attending school, and I always take my studies seriously. I like being mentally challenges and I enjoy science subjects. I have big dreams when it comes to my studies, and since I was seven years old, I decided that I wanted to be an engineer. I do not know why I made this decision, but so far, I have been putting a lot of effort in this field, and I have been moving in the right direction. Thus, this has been my goal, and I always aim at doing my best in school so that I can achieve this goal.

I am an interesting and fun-loving person, and I also have a great sense of humor. Something about me is that I usually find it very easy to make friends because I try to socialize with people from different cultures so that I can learn more about their cultural backgrounds. I am compassionate, kind, and friendly. Also, I am a principled person, and I tend to stand very strong on what is right and wrong.  

My hobbies include soccer, swimming, and cooking. At my college, I belong to the swimming team and compete in every swimming competition. In last year’s competition, I emerged number two, which was my best since I started swimming. I consider cooking as a huge interest of mine and enjoy preparing meals for my family. My mother is a great cook, and I think I got this from her.
