How is the Parlays Calculator used?Posted by Nick Shaw on November 20th, 2018 A parlay is a unique bet that connects to each other two or more bets for a high payment. To win the parlay bet, each of the bets must win.
So, why make a parlay bet if it is a more difficult bet? Because the payments are higher. A parlay of 2 teams could pay 13/5, a parlay of three teams can pay 6/1, a parlay of four teams can pay 10/1, and so on with the payments to get bigger with more teams. The Parlays Calculator is a very useful tool to calculate the performance of parlay bets. How is the Parlay Calculator used?
What are the valid values that can be entered in the Price fields in the Parlays Calculator? You can enter any value between -99999 and 99999. You must include the + or - sign according to the value. Parlay bets (2 to 8 teams)A parlay is a bet in which 2 to 8 teams or totals are selected. All selections must win or draw to win the bet. If any of the selections lose, you lose your bet, regardless of the result or the cancellation of the other games. If one or more selections is tied, deferred, incomplete, canceled or rescheduled for another day, then the bet reverts to the next lower number. For example, if you place a parlay of 5 teams and 4 are winners with a draw, your bet is paid as a 4 team parlay. If you place a parlay of 2 teams and win one team and the other draw, the bet is converted to "straight". The resulting bet will have the same amount of risk with the win being calculated to reflect the odds of the remaining team (Example: In a parlay of 2 teams of 100 dollars with team "A" to +110 and team "B" a - 110 if "A" ties and "B" wins the resulting bet will be a "Straight" with "B" risking $ 100 to win $ 91). Parlays Payments CalculationPayments are determined by a simple formula that changes the "Money Line" to decimal form: STEP 1: Conversion of the "Money Line" to decimalsFor each team in the Parlays Calculator , the "Money Line" is converted to decimal form using the following formula:
STEP 2: Add 1 to each of these values.STEP 3: Find out the amount that was bet (at risk)Now we can calculate the payment of the Parlays Calculator with the following formula:
