Iteration 2: Review of Requirements and Specifications

The process shall involve the review of the literature review documents and the deliverables from the brainstorming and the planning session. The analysis shall form the preparation planning team for the allocation of resources to the project development team. The process of the feasibility study shall get conducted in the stage. The sessions shall also involve the definition of the scope of the project. The session shall formulate the proposed project goals, objectives and the visions of the system. The entire system shall consider the definition of the user specifications and the systems requirements.

The Plan

The session involving the allocation review of requirement and specifications shall require four weeks. During the first week, the research shall focus on determining to review the literature review and the brainstorming and planning iteration. The subtask of the review shall involve, reviewing and checking the current technology applied in the development of Business Intelligent Systems. The second task shall review the supporting technology that constitutes the development of the Business Intelligent Systems. The second week shall conduct the research on the preliminary study to determine the user requirements as well as the user specifications (P. K. Salim, personal communication, January 10, 2016. The task of the session shall involve the use of data and information collection techniques. The techniques applied shall include the observation, the questionnaire, the interview, and the observation (N. Y. Charity, personal communication, January 16, 2016. The requirement of the session is to collect the input and output data and information of the proposed system. The objective of the research shall be to involve the end user in the process of Business Intelligent Systems development so as to design and develop an acceptable system to the society (H. B. Mercy, personal communication, January 20, 2016.

The Action

I reviewed the literature review, the brainstorming, and planning iteration to enhance the development of the Business Intelligent Systems with better and responsive cohesion of the activities. I analyzed the technologies implemented in the development of the Business Intelligent Systems. The platform applied includes the Oracle database development using the object-oriented programming techniques.  I checked on the programming techniques and the programming languages applied in the development of the Business Intelligent Systems from experts’ point of view. The development platform and environments that implement Business Intelligent Systems include the Java Development Kit (JDK), the Microsoft Dot Net Framework and OLAP interface (S. D. Phillis, personal communication, January 23, 2016). I analyzed the various methods and systems that constitute the Business Intelligent Systems. The methods and processes that constitute Business Intelligent Systems include the Decision Support Systems (DSS) and processes, the USSD and USSDC mobile technology processes, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems and processes among other business-oriented applications and systems (F. G. Joan, personal communication, January 27, 2016). I conducted the preliminary study analysis on various individuals including the clients, the end users and the stakeholders. I collected data and information from the end users through the use of the interview. I collected data and information from the clients through direct observation, demographic observation, and the questionnaire. The last data and information collection I conducted from the stakeholders through the use of the combined techniques such as the interviews, observations, and questionnaire. I determined the various operations involving the data and information collection on the related fields that provided the information required to have the input and the output of the Business Intelligent Systems. I analyzed the data and information collected using the SPSS software. I interpreted the results of the observation, questionnaire, and interview to obtain the user requirements and the specification.

The Observation

The iteration on the review of user requirement and specification has led to various observation and conclusion based on the development and the implementation of Business Intelligent Systems. The research has made me realize the needs and requirements of different target groups expected to use the Business Intelligent Systems. I observed that many respondents were from the interview sessions. From the review of the deliverables of the literature review and the brainstorming, I realized that the Business Intelligent Systems is an integrated system made up of several systems combined. I observed that the system applied various methods and technologies to form a dynamic system with the capability of interfacing several architectures. From the reviews, I observed that the irregularities and software crisis within the Business Intelligent Systems is a history of past due to a high level of modularity, flexibility, mobility, and fault tolerance. The attributes are achieved through the use of the various technological platforms that are architectural independent from the limitation of structural and architectural design (G. B. Serra, personal communication, January 31, 2016). I observed that the interview the end users specified the Business Intelligent Systems that has the features and functionalities like the intranet, extranet, and the telnet features. The research I conducted from the stakeholders they specified a system that has dynamic web operations. I observed that the stakeholders required the Business Intelligent Systems that support big data, technology, the cloud computing technology, and the analytics. I observed that the clients had needs and requirements based on the analysis and searching from the web platforms. The client’s requirements involved the implementation of the Business Intelligent Systems capable of analyzing and interpreting data through data mining, database warehousing and support decision making through the implementation of the artificial intelligence (K. B. Flora, personal communication, February 05, 2016).

The Reflection

Through the review of the requirements and specifications, I have gained extra knowledge on the strategies and the components to implement so as to achieve the Business Intelligent Systems that is required by the various target groups. The session has equipped me with knowledge and skills on how to implement a complex and sophisticated system through the use of the various systems linked together. The research on the determination of the systems that constitute the Business Intelligent Systems has equipped me with the knowledge on which systems to integrate within the Business Intelligent Systems (G. M. Abraham, personal communication, February 12, 2016). The research based on the technologies applied in the development and the implementation of the Business Intelligent Systems has equipped me with the development platforms that design and achieve the required system. The user specifications and the various requirements specified by the end user, the stakeholders, and the clients have equipped me with the knowledge and understanding of the system desired by the users. The specifications and the requirements dedicated by the users of the system reveal the interest of the users that must be implemented to meet the user needs and specification (V. B. Daniel, personal communication, February 18, 2016). The aim of the iteration is to implement the quality and acceptable Business Intelligent Systems to the society. The research shall focus on meeting the user specifications to bring the various applications into attainable and achievable goal. The session shall implement the system through the development platforms specified in the research such as the Microsoft Dot Net Platform, the Java Development Kit (JDK), the Oracle, and the Object Oriented Design technologies.
