MS Dhoni is ahead of Virat Kohli in terms of influential personality

The YouGov Influencer Index 2018 that covered consumer perception of around 60 top Bollywood celebrities and sports personalities. It is based on the data collected online by YouGov among close of 1948 respondents in India with a panel of over 6 million people across the world.

The study measures their awareness, likability, trustworthiness, and influence in the categories like health, wellness, and beauty/personal care, technology/automotive, fashion, apparel and accessories, food, drink and travel, and financial services.

Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan holds the first place. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is placed in second place. Former Indian Captain MS Dhoni is in third place while Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar holds the number four spot.

Best batsman in the world Virat Kohli is placed at the sixth position. Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar was placed the fifth while Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan occupied the seventh and eighth place, respectively.

The top 10 list is concluded by Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra who took the ninth and tenth spot respectively.

YouGov said, “The overall influencer index is an average of awareness, likability, trust and individual sector influence score. The top ten list is dominated by male Bollywood celebrities and cricketers, however, Deepika Padukone is the top-ranked female celebrity in the list,”
