Harbhajan Singh feels that Team India has a lot of problems that need to be solv

Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh said that India needs to sort out their bowling and batting combinations right for the World Cup 2019. He questioned Indian management's move to play Krunal Pandya instead of Yuzvendra Chahal in the first T20I against Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane.

Unfortunately for Team India, Australia won by 4 runs. Australia had to untimely end their innings at 158/4 off 17 overs due to heavy showers that prevented the last three overs from being played. The revised D/L target for Team India was then raised to 174 in 17 overs.

Harbhajan feels that Krunal Pandya is not the sort of bowler that India can afford for all four overs in a T20I as he doesn't spin the ball and bowls "really, really fast". He told that team combination is something that India has to look at.

He said that whenever Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have bowled together, they have taken wickets and put pressure on the opposition and they have been quite successful as a pair.

According to him, that is where the Indian National Cricket Team have to think about what is the combination going forward. He said that there are a lot of problems that need to be solved before Team India get into the World Cup. He emphasized on the spin department especially.

Bhajji told that India will need Chahal if not this game then they will need him in the next game. He also backed Ambati Rayudu to find a place in the Indian T20I line-up as a specialist No.4 batsman.

The second T20 match of the three-match T20 series is scheduled on 23 November at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Match predictions for India vs Australia matches are always interesting and Cricadium’s second T20 match prediction is already out.
