Purazur builds new water treatment installation for Borealis chemical company Purazur, a DEME Group subsidiary specialised in water treatment chemicals, is building a new water treatment installation for the chemical company Borealis in Kallo, Belgium. Purazur is responsible for designing the new installation, constructing it and putting it into operation.

This will expand the current water treatment installation at the Borealis plant in Kallo. This installation needs to be changed to meet legislation and discharge standards that have been made even stricter than before. Purazur was able to develop a compact design that could be incorporated in the limited surface area of the current production facility. The design and off-site construction of the installation will start in 2017 and it is to be delivered in May 2018. Borealis can count on Purazur as a strong partner which has extensive experience in designing, constructing and exploiting water treatment installations for industrial wastewater.

"After various discussions, Purazur was selected as the most suitable candidate because of the great importance it attaches to safety and quality.
