A cricket match between India and Australia is one of the fiercest rivalries in cricket. Former Pakistani cricketer Rameez Raja believes that India vs Australia cricket match can never go without sledging from either side.

India vs Australia first T20I match was held at The Gabba, Brisbane ended without any verbal exchange between the two teams. Indian Team skipper Virat Kohli stresses on a sledge-free summer in Australia prior to the tour began.

But ahead of the 2nd T20I match in Melbourne, Rameez Raja feels that “India vs Australia series cannot go without sledging from both sides.” He also said, "After a long time it looks like India could topple Australia in Australia because it’s a composed team and Australia will find it tough without Smith and Warner."

Rameez Raja has an opinion that the current Indian side does stand a chance to fall the Australian side Down Under in the ongoing tour as the hosts are a depleted side without their key players that are Steve Smith and David Warner.

Talking about Dhoni, Rameez Raja said, "MS Dhoni is not just any player, for what he brings to the team he needs to be there till 2019. What he was doing for the last 15 years is not working anymore so he will be flabbergasted but he can move on."

Since January 2013, none of the full-fledged series between India vs Pakistan had taken place. The two cricketing rivals only meet through contests in ICC tournaments. Rameez Raja expressed grief over India-Pakistan cricket matches. He said, "I will never understand why cricket is always made the scapegoat and why we can’t leave politics out of it."
