As a passionate digital nomad, I can fulfill my dream of traveling through my work as a virtual assistant services list. The most important question as a VA is, of course, how and where do I find customers. As a rule, it is very hard to do that, because at first you do not know where to start. Basically, you can look at it like a normal job search. You need a profile / CV so people can see what you are offering. A new customer conversation is basically similar to a job interview.

·        What you do (which tasks you offer)

·        Why you would like to work for the customer

Just the last point is like in a classic application, so to speak, your motivation. Of course this is difficult to formulate and, as with applications, many things end up in the bin or, to put it hard, in the bin. But, then there is the one customer in which you hit the right note or hit the right time and are asked to talk.

Where else can I find work as a marketing virtual assistant services if I am not good at acquiring? If you have managed to find your own customers, you are in good hands with the agencies or on job platforms. Its structure allows you to quickly and easily start working with clients.

For the platforms, the most important thing is to have a good profile. Go spy and see what the profiles of other VAs look like. Do not just copy that, but customize it for you. Do not just wait for someone to find your profile, be very active in jobs.

Agencies have a clear advantage - you do not have to look for customers yourself! Disadvantage, the merit is not that high. But it is a quick start and a great way to gain experience. Just listen to your gut feeling - not a good feeling, then do not work for them.

Do not over-advertise yourself in the groups. But if you are otherwise active and like comments or comments, so simply participate in the groups, a job search post is ok (just read the descriptions of the groups, here you will find always the hints what is allowed in the respective group, if necessary just ask one of the admins if a post is ok).

A good source of customers are also old employers, because of course you can do nothing better than tasks that you have already done for someone. Just let them know what you are doing and ask if there is any need. If not now, then maybe someday. Thus, it is always good to pass on at least the information.

Networks / word of mouth

Often underestimated but incredibly important, word of mouth. You've already done the beginning and told old employers what you're doing now. Now it's the rest of the world, and that's literally meant. Just tell everyone what you are doing now.

On the one hand, it is a very exciting story, as it is simply not well known in Germany, and on the other hand, it is precisely because it is such an exciting story that it is passed on. People pass it on and they stay in the memory if someone actually needs a  virtual assistant services.

It's basically nothing but networks. As soon as you have the first customers together and they are satisfied, they also recommend you or you can ask them for a reference for your site. This shows that the quality of your work is good and the customers are satisfied. This is an important signal for new customers.
