Always cite the material which is carefully prepared by experts in their respective fields.

You should be suspicious of sources that do not indicate the name of the author. This could probably mean that the author is not an expert in that field or may not have substantial knowledge in that area and thus prefers his or her identity concealed. When it comes to websites, be keen on the date such content was posted, and the last time it was updated.

You should understand the source of a particular site just to evaluate its purpose and any kind of possible bias. How appropriate is the source? Most of the sources you’ll get won’t have the content that you are looking for. Focus on the source that addresses your topic.
