Unscrewing Molds are used to produce parts with internal or external threads for the medical equipments industries, agriculture, water applications, cosmetics manufacturers, and various other industries, such as Nuts,Bolts,Sprinkler Heads Bottle Caps & Closures etc. There are usually two types unscrewing molds, manual and automatic. Manual unscrewing molds are usually made for the shot-run parts, more like prototype molds which is more simple and less expensive; and the automatic unscrewing molds are much more complicate and expensive, which usually use the hydraulic or spring as the usual power source driving unscrewing cores to separate threaded parts from injection tools. Collapsible core mold As an alternative to unscrewing / rotating-core molds, the core is separated from the part prior to ejection in collapsing-core molds. This allows for a reduction in cooling time and reduces the chances of distortion. The possibility also exists for a reduction in mold size since unscrewing racks are not required.
