Inspiration behind the Birdman Character in Robo 2.0

Tollywood news latest: - Recent release Robo 2.0 is a Visual feast made by the director Shankar. It is the sequel to the movie “Robo” which was released in the year 2015. As we know Shankar is one of the top directors in Tamil film industry he made many movies with good stories and with a good social responsibility message.

Shankar who is having a tough time on screen gave a massive blockbuster with Robo 2.0. A personal research from the latest Telugu movie news has come up with the interesting facts about the Robo 2.0. The director Shankar while narrating the story to Super Start Rajinikanth sir said that he has one famous person to do an antagonist role in this film it is non-other than Universal star Kamal Haasan Sir. But when offered went to Kamal sir due to some reasons he rejected the role right away. Next, the role went to Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger because he demanded high remuneration that did not materialize as well. Finally, the role went to Bollywood Star hero “Akshay Kumar” who has given a node to the movie.

One ore fact knows about the Akshay Kumar character Birdman in the movie is that it was inspired by the real-life character “Salim Ali”. Salim Ali is renowned Indian ornithologist and naturalist. He is popularly known as “Birdman of India”. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1958 and the Padma Vibhushan in 1976, India's third and second highest civilian honors respectively. Several species of birds, a couple of bird sanctuaries and institutions have been named after him.

The writer of 2.0' Jayamohan had said that how would Salim Ali reacts to the adverse effects of the latest technology and in view of that the character of Pakshi Raja (Birdman) is confined.

The movie Robo 2.0 got released 29th November 2018 and got good applause and appreciation from both audiences and from critics as well. The music was composed by the famous music composer AR Rahman who composed for Robo is well. Director Shankar always inspires the society with some social responsibility messages in the viewpoint of nature and birds the movie Robo 2.0 was materialized.
