Some interesting facts about Hitman Rohit Sharma

India’s Hitman Rohit Sharma who is the vice-captain of Indian National Cricket Team started his career when he was twenty years old.

When Rohit’s father Gurunath Sharma lost his job in a transport company, then the responsibility of the family fell on his shoulders at a very young age. He used to play for Indian Oil and Ranji matches at that time.

Rohit Sharma followed his passion for cricket though his mother wanted him to study and get a reputed job. She never wanted him to become a cricketer. Rohit started as an off-spinner but his coach Dinesh Lad read his potential as a cricketer and made him a batsman.

Hitman is the only player who has played four IPL finals and won all of them. One with the Deccan Chargers and rest three with Mumbai Indians. He is among those four cricketers who have won IPL with two different teams.

Once Rohit Sharma was also linked to Model Sofia Hayat but he didn't give any statement about it. On 13 December 2015, Rohit Sharma married Ritika Sajdeh who is the so-called sister of Yuvraj Singh.

In the year 2015, Rohit Sharam was been awarded Arjuna Award for his excellence in the Cricket. He is the second Indian player after Sourav Ganguly to score a century in a knock out match in the history of ICC World Cup.

He also became the first cricketer to score three double centuries in the ODIs. He is the second Indian cricketer to score a century in all three formats of the game. Hitman Rohit Sharma does not only performs with a bat but he also has a bowling hat-trick to his name during IPL.
