Create a Gmail account

Below are steps to create a new Gmail account.

1. Open a web browser and type gmail.com into the address bar.

2. Click "Create account".

3. To set up a new account, you will need to provide some information about you.

Enter your first and last name.

Choose your username. It will be placed before "@gmail.com". It needs to be unique. 

Type your password twice to confirm you enter it correctly. 

4. Click "Next".

5. To create a new Gmail account, you will need to Accept Google's privacy and terms by clicking "I Agree".

6. Google will now ask you to verify your account via a text message or a voice call, select the option that you want and click on "Continue".

7. Type the code in the box and click "Verify"!
