No Richard Madley in IPL Auction 2019

The IPL franchises are getting prepared for the upcoming IPL auction. The Eight franchises have started working for IPL Auction 2019 by deciding whom to take into the team and whom not.
A total of 1003 players have registered their names for the upcoming Indian Premier League Auction for the 12th season. The eight teams of IPL have released certain players and retained some before the IPL auction 2019.
For the first time in the 12 years, auctioneer Richard Madley will be absent from the auction for IPL 2019. Hugh Edmeades will take place of Madley. Hugh Edmeades is a charity and classic cars auctioneer who has more than thirty years of experience.
IPL Auctioneer Richard Madley on twitter wrote with his official Twitter handle, “Sorry not to be conducting #IPL2019 auction. It’s been an honour and a privilege to have been part of #IPL from the start. Will miss my many friends and followers in #India and beyond. Thank you for the welcome you have always shown. The Hammerman”.
One of the replies to his tweet by a CSK fan account read as ”For me nothing could match the opening auction in 2008 when I dropped my hammer selling MS Dhoni for .5 million"
The fan account of the IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings reminded Richard Madley of his famous statement after selling MS Dhoni in the IPL 2008 Auction.
In reply to CSK fan, Madley wrote, “Greetings to all my CSK friends who I have got to know so well. Selling @msdhoni in IPL 1 is still a career highlight. #WhistlePodu”.
For Madley, MS Dhoni's sale is one of the biggest highlights of his auctioneering career. Madley who has the unique way of conducting the auctions will be missed by his fans.
