Don’t let Dave Stevens’ scam you. Dave Stevens is a fraud. He created his facebook group “Ethical Hackers for hire” to cheat people out of their money. https://www.facebook.com/groups/103247333094274/

He will make you believe that he knows hacking, he will ask for 1/3 advance payment and the rest on completion of the job. You will accept payments through bitcoins, ethereum, monero, ripple and skrill payments. Once he has your money he is gone. He will reply to a few more of your emails pretending to work on the job and eventually will block you from his group.

I paid the scammer Dave Stevens via Skrill. I would avoid Skrill as it is not save. If you send money to someone you have no protection! After I informed Skrill about Dave Stevens’ scam they told me that they cant reverse transactions and that I agreed to their T&Cs so its basically my fault. When I confronted them about lack of KYC (know-your-customer) and with it facilitating scams and money laundry they ignored me. As an advise for everyone who fell victim whether to Dave Stevens or to other hacker scammers – if you used your credit card to make the payment open a case with your card provider and you might be able to get your money back. Let them fight the fight with Skrill as they obviously have more leverage than an individual person.
