Police officers remind: be visible!

Police officers during their services undertake various activities aimed at improving road safety. One of them is to remind and make all road users aware of their duties, but also the dangers of lurking on the road. The correct lighting of both pedestrians and vehicles is of great importance for our safety. Reflective tapes on clothing are necessary.

Yesterday, the policemen conducted activities. The purpose of these activities was above all a reminder and awareness of the pedestrian, moving along the way after dark, not only about duty but also about the need to use reflective materials in a visible way for other road users. On this occasion, policemen handed out bands and reflective vests.

In addition, policemen in the framework of the nationwide campaign "Your lights, your safety" carried out control and prevention activities aimed at eliminating the movement of vehicles with inefficient or incompatible with the technical conditions of lighting. This action runs from November 24 to December 15. Only yesterday, when checking 21 vehicles, police officers revealed 12 defects consisting of inoperative lighting.

The officers during the inspection gave the drivers leaflets with information on how to ensure proper lighting of the car.
