MapleStory's Brand New Island Zone Now Available

The Chryse update for MapleStory has arrived: players levels 55 to 75 are now able to address their way through Chryse, a new explorable island that floats across the Orbis region. The island, which wandered clear of Orbis ages ago, is powered using a mysterious power core that sustains life and keeps this tropical isle afloat. Now inhabited with a friendly race of giants, few are actually able for making any form of exposure to Chryse.

After talking to Chrysian chief Marione inside the Greek inspired city, players can explore the once-beautiful island which unfortunately is becoming awash in darkness and danger. By re-establishing contact together with the giants of Chryse, players will learn from the MS M Mesos fearsome monster generally known as Xerxes, whose army of monsters has ravaged a nearby townspeople. It will probably be the player's mission for battle Xerxes' army of destruction and ultimately restore the giants' power and peace during the entire island.

Players will form groups with as much as three other friends to address Xerxes. Upon his defeat, players will probably be amply rewarded with weapons and items unique to Chryse.
