he  Drilling and Well Personnel Well Control Trainings are mandatory  requirement to work in Oil & Energy Sector as field professional in  Drilling. It is recommended by OGP as a basic well control training  modules. These are to be taken by all members of the well-site  Operations team working in roles which may directly contribute to the  creation, detection or control

IWCF DRILLING WELL CONTROL LEVEL 3 & 4:

SUITABLE FOR:

This  Programmed is designed for people in critical well control Position on  drilling installations as well as onshore roles. The candidates will  complete an IWCF accredited training course, taught according to IWCF  syllabus, in order to prepare them for assessment,

COURSE CONTENT:

Well  Control management, Origins of pressure, Primary well control, Dynamic  wellbore Pressures, Causes of kicks, Blowout Prevents & well control  equipments, Kick warning, Signs, Diverting Shallow gas kicks, Shut — in  procedures, well control methods, Handling on- bottom kicks, Handling  off- bottom kicks, Down hole & equipment Problems during well  control, well barriers, Risk Assessment, simulator Assessment.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE:

Level 3: Available for any role expected to shut in a well.

Level 4: Well Site Supervisor Training.

Consider of Two Written Assessments and a Practical assessment using simulator equipment.
