A temporary resident permit is a permit for residence of short period. The special thing about this permit is that it allows persons with a criminal record or some other grounds of inadmissibility to enter Canada for a particular reason. One should produce all the relevant Resident Permit Document along with a TRP, and prove that their need to enter outweighs any possible risk.

  • Depending on nature and situations, you may be issued a TRP when your eTA is refused. Every eTA Required Country has its own application form for the residence permit. So, check it at the time of rejection of your eTA.
