Zlin's officers test world-class reflective vests

Improvement of classic reflective vests is in the addition of luminous diodes. The officers are so much better seen in both traffic management and impaired visibility, as well as in normal walking.

"The police, but also other members of the security forces, often work in bad weather. That's why we were thinking about how to incorporate a new light into the standard police vest, "said Milan, director of Municipal Police, the realization of which took place in cooperation with the regional company and the Technical University in Liberec. For example, she developed a biker jacket that shines and when the biker shows a change of direction, the tongue flashes on the jacket.

The police officers are now much more visible to the driver and the public, even 400 meters away. This is twice as much as a conventional reflective vest.
