Know how to make use of phone to scan business cards

You can take a picture of a business card from the Insightly iOS or Android application, and Insightly will create a CRM contact or a leader for you. This feature is available on all paid Insightly accounts and on devices with a back camera. Each user will have their own individual scan limit per month, depending on the plan in which they are.

Once you have saved the image of your card with help of best business card scanner app, we will follow up with an email for each card that is sent. There are three possible outcomes:

• The record is created successfully in Insightly. The email will include a link to the Insightly log and a vCard attachment to help you save the contact in your mobile address book. To start scanning:

Press and hold the plus (+) green button and select the quick notes panel icon on the home screen (on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch), or press +> Camera (on Android).

Place the camera on the card so that the edges of the card are visible. The camera automatically detects centres and captures the business card.

Note: If the business card is not detected automatically, press the button in the upper right corner to deactivate the automatic mode.
