3D Printing Technology is now in Navy warship construction

Not just the submarines and it's parts. Navy and Army are now using lightweight and durable surveillance drones which are made up from strong 3d printing materials. In such areas where heavy drones will be easily visible, the army is using special 3d printed mini-drones to capture footage.

These drones are extremely lightweight and strong to survive from uneven weather conditions and continue to work without any interruption.

Helmets and costly parts:
Army and Navy are also planning to manufacture strong and light helmets as the traditional helmets are too bulky for some war scenarios. The main aim of using the additive processes is to have products which are of high quality and can help in cutting the huge cost of manufacturing.
