The article discusses the issue of following own paths. By reflecting on the life of twelve-year-old Gwenyth, the author demonstrates the importance of making own decisions and living its consequences.  Individuals need to understand themselves particularly if they think they have some answers to straighten out their own personal world. The motivation is always a conscious one, and individuals know what exactly they want to do.  The author discusses the issue in relation to other findings and develops the discussion further. The reader can easily draw an interpretation from the discussion. The author also uses data to justify the arguments presented. The weakness of the article is that the author does not reference studies data used in the discussion to support his claims.

To boldly sell

The article discusses space exploration and the problem presented by the existing model of exploiting resources.  The strength of the article is reflected in how the discussion flows logically and is related back to real life events hence placing the article on context. The article also has viable concepts of reliability and validity. The article also demonstrates adequacy and robustness of the discussion. The author takes some consideration on data to ensures a level of external validity. It also has strengths of simplicity, accessibility, and directness.  The article also presents details in an excellent way. The topic seems to be of interest to the researcher and is explored in depth. At the end of the article, the author gives his personal opinion on his doubts concerning market-based space economy. This is a weakness as the personal opinion is not supported by any study.

Roger Rosenblatt sifts through the testimony of individuals caught up in the horrors of violent zealotry. The author assesses what hasn’t changed in today’s world of terror.  The author begins by assessing various incidences including San Bernardino massacre, Islamic State massacre in Paris, Jihadist massacre in Mali and proceeds to explosions at Brussels airport, Baghdad, and Bangladesh.  The strength of the article is in the means of data collection.  It creates an illusion of objectivity. The author uses interviews and personal narratives to gather data on socially sensitive issues.   The method ensures that less biased preconceptions because data is collected from participants.  The author also uses first person narrative. The weakness of the article is that it has difficulties in limited character description and the constrained plot interaction that the point-of-view imposes.

The Taming of the Wild

In “The Taming of the Wild,” the author poses for a shot when contemplating Nature, on a mountain overlooking the Sonoma Valley. According to the article, nature is no longer natural as it used to be by just looking at the traffic jams and crowded camps around the national parks.  The strength of the article lies in how the author in dissent questions the notion that everything, including the parks, has to have a human-defined use in order to rationalize its existence. The author argues on the value of uselessness: that the world needs wildness. The weakness of the article is that it does not address factors that cause the problem in question. While there is a need to preserve our wilderness, there is also need to look at why the wilderness is no more in order to address the problem.
