As we have landed in 2019 already, there are a number of exciting movies scheduled to release in 2019. Not only will it feature the new Star Wars trilogy, but the upcoming year will also bring the first Marvel movie that is based on a female hero. Apart from the movies, there are several TV shows that are waiting to be released in the upcoming year, for instance; Game of Thrones.

The director of this film, M. Night Shyamalan, directed the movie Unbreakable back in 2000 and he introduced the people to Mr. Glass who was able to defeat the villain (Samuel L. Jackson) quite easily. M. Night Shyamalan then directed Split in 2017 and introduced a multi-personality character that was played by James McAvoy. In Glass, M. This is a dark comedy film in which Liam Neeson plays the role of a snowplow driver who seeks revenge against some drug dealers as he suspects them for the murder of his son. The movie is based on a Norwegian film that goes by the name ‘In Order of Disappearance’ (2014). In this particular movie, Liam Neeson blows some stuff up with the snowplow as shown in the trailer which looks absolutely amazing.

Cast: Brie Larson, Ben Mendelson, Samual L. Jackson, and Jude Law

Directed by: Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden

Marvel is finally releasing a movie that stars a female superhero, and the role is played by Brie Larson. The movie is set in the 90s and Brie Larson is known for fighting Skrulls alongside Gemma Chan and Jude Law.

Cast: Lupita Nyong’o, Tim Heidecker, Elisabeth Moss, and Winston Duke

Directed by: Jordan Peele

Other than the fact that this movie is directed by Jordan Peele and that has an amazing cast, we cannot say much about this film. However, rumor has it that the movie is about a black couple and a white couple, and people think that it is enough for them to get excited about this movie.

  1. The Beach Bum

Cast: Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron, Snoop Dogg, and Isla Fisher

The Beach Bum is a comedy film that stars Matthew McConaughey as Moondog, a stoner who wants to live his life by his own rules. As the movie revolves around weed, it is only fair to cast individuals who have had real experience in this particular field. Hence, the director cast Snoop Dogg and on the other hand, we have Zac Efron who wants to make sure that the movie catches the limelight with his interesting attire.

This movie is based on a novel that was written by Maria Semple back in 2012. The story revolves around a mother, played by Cate Blanchett, who goes missing prior to a family trip leaving her teenage daughter behind to track her down.

11. John Wick: Parabellum

The remake of Aladdin will be featuring Will Smith as the magical genie and people cannot wait to watch this movie as it contains some amazing visual effects and flashy camera works.
