Manu Ginobili will determine whether he's wanting to call it a career within the next day or two, ESPN.com reported Wednesday.
The Spurs veteran is contemplating on whether he wants to experience a 17th season inside league and plans to talk with coach Gregg Popovich to go over his future.
Ginobili, 41, has spent his entire career with San Antonio. He was drafted from the NBA Live Mobile Coins second round from the 1999 draft, but went to experience basketball in Europe before returning for his rookie season in 2002.
He has twelve months left on his contract which is worth .5 million.
During his 16-year tenure using the Spurs, Ginobili helped the c's win four NBA titles and is a two-time NBA All-Star, an Olympic gold medalist for Argentina along with a EuroLeague MVP.
If Ginobili retires, it will likely be another veteran loss with the Spurs. The team saw longtime player Tony Parker sign with all the Hornets this offseason, along with Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green being traded towards the Raptors for DeMar DeRozan and Jakob Poeltl.
