Why Private Yoga Classes are So Special?

Incorporating yoga into your workout program could be extremely beneficial to health. Not only could it help to increase your fitness levels but also to keep your mind and body at balance.  The meditative aspect of yoga helps to reduce stress, which allows for a greater sense of wellbeing. While attending yoga classes should be enjoyable, group classes could also feel intimidating especially for a new comer.

Many potential students are reluctant to join group yoga because of their lack of experience, which is why private yoga classes provide a great stepping stone into the unique world of yoga.  A few private sessions will help you get acquainted with basic positions that will ease you into more challenging yoga poses as well as make you feel more competent in a group class.

When first starting out with yoga, taking few private classes is recommended before you join a group session. This is because some classes may ask you to perform poses that are far too challenging for your level. Large yoga cases typically consist of students of different skill and flexibility levels. Unless a class is specified for a certain skill bracket, you risk forcing yourself to cope with advanced asanas. Even when joining a class for your specific skill level, the number of people taking the same class could prevent you from getting enough attention form the instructor with personal adjustments. This could also potentially increase your risk of injury if performing asanas in a wrong way.

Private yoga classes are great because they provide you with undivided attention from your instructor—something you need to learn how to perform yoga asanas correctly to get the most benefit of your classes. A private instructor will be able to take the time to teach you how to get in and out of each pose as well as how to perform the right breathing techniques, leaving you with the right knowledge and skills, which you can then further develop privately or within a group.
