New Technology of Cassava Flour Equipment and Cassava Flour Production Process

Tapioca flour is also called cassava powder, which is in the form of powder. Unlike tapioca starch, it is the processing of all cassava roots, retaining the nutrient content of cassava, and the nutrition is more comprehensive than tapioca starch. Tapioca flour is mainly consumed.
The cassava flour equipment developed by GOODWAY Tapioca Industry is widely used in the international market.

Crafting process:
The processing of cassava flour from GOODWAY Equipment Factory can be roughly divided into several sections: cleaning, crushing, dewatering, drying and packaging. The entire production process can be automated by connecting the various sections.

Cleaning: It is the key link in the processing of tapioca flour, which is more important than the processing of tapioca starch. Because the tapioca powder does not have a water filtration section behind it, if there is sediment, it will directly affect the quality of the tapioca powder, resulting in high impurity content. Commonly used cassava cleaning equipment: cassava special drum type peeling cleaning machine, mainly to remove the cassava surface sediment and cassava skin. The paddle washing machine uses the principle of bionics to remove the sediment on the cassava by strong cleaning. The new squirrel cage cleaner is further cleaned and rinsed to improve the clarity of the cassava and also has a peeling effect. Under normal circumstances, cassava cleaning should be combined with multiple devices to achieve results.

Crushing: The comminution of cassava is not the same as the comminution of ordinary tapioca starch processing. When smashing, try to add little or no water, and the fineness requirement is relatively higher. The pulverized material is generally not filtered to prevent loss of nutrients. In order to ensure the color during pulverization, an oxidation prevention treatment can be performed.

Dehydration: In order to dry the tapioca powder, the pulverized slurry is further dehydrated. There are many options for the dehydrator. A small-scale three-foot dewatering machine can be used. Large ones can use special vacuum dewatering machine (national patent, solid potato production) or scraper centrifuge to reduce moisture in the material and improve drying efficiency and quality.

Drying: The drying of tapioca flour is similar to the drying of tapioca starch, except that the process parameters are different. The airflow dryer can still be used to combine the high temperature gas and the wet powder to quickly remove the moisture in the wet powder, so that the tapioca powder becomes a dry material. These materials are then sieved to the desired fineness of the finished tapioca flour, which can be packaged directly. If it does not meet the requirements, it will be smashed again. Firewood can be used for dry fuel.

Packing: After drying, the finished materials are packaged according to different requirements of customers and can be sold on the market.
