Antimicrobials and other types of medication should be avoided for about two weeks before surgery. You should also stop dietary supplements such as ginseng, vitamin E and others during this period. Our medical specialists will talk to you about this by simply reviewing your medical history. Alcohol and smoking should be stopped at least two weeks before hair restoration surgery to prevent complications in the healing process. It is also important to try to avoid possible risks to the scalp (exposure to the sun, pulling excess hair, etc.) in the weeks leading up to surgery. You will be asked to stop using hair products the day before the procedure and make sure you make arrangements for adequate rest at home during treatment. Instructions followed after hair transplantation: The medication used during surgery may continue for 24 hours after surgery. The effects may be drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, nausea, vomiting, or skin discoloration in the treated area. If you feel any of these symptoms, we recommend that you accompany an adult with you for 24 hours. Eat plenty of fluids, you can start eating and refer to your normal diet as allowed. Always take painkillers with a snack or meal to prevent nausea. Do not drink alcohol for 48 hours after surgery or if you are taking pain medication. Do not take Aspirin products for a week after surgery. Sleep with your head lifted using two pillows. Expect some bleeding from the donor area on the back of your head. We recommend that you protect your pillow with a dark towel. Do not touch or wash the cultivated area for 24 hours. You can wash your hair but wait until evening. Wash your hair gently, using a regular shampoo and a regular shower pressure. The resumption of light physical activities, light running and light weightlifting. Avoid swimming pools and sauna for two months. Hair can be cut or colored after removal of the wound or after 14 days of procedure.
