QsuitePosted by Spencer Travel on February 25th, 2019 Qatar Airways’ Sydney sales team recently invited Spencer Travel's General Manager, Tina Killeen, to experience the airline’s new Qsuite first hand. The Qsuite was created for Qatar Airways by renowned UK-based design firm PriestmanGoode, specialists in aircraft interiors, airports, public transport and high speed trains, hotels and consumer products. Tina flew on the short, daily Sydney-Canberra-Sydney sectors before the airline’s Boeing 777 aircraft returns to Doha and connections to all parts of Qatar’s network. “It’s a very impressive product”, says Tina. “I have long been a fan of Qatar Airways, and the new Qsuite takes business class to the next level. With the central privacy panels open, four passengers can dine or conduct meetings together”, adds Tina. This is possible because the Qsuite cabin is configured in a staggered yin-yang layout meaning that almost half of the Qsuites face the rear of the aircraft. The cabin is configured like this:
For solo travellers, Tina points out that, “The window seats (A-B-J-K), and seats D and G are preferable as E and F are very close together side-by-side. It’s the paired E and F seats that can convert into a shared suite and double bed when the privacy panel is lowered.” Read More… Like it? Share it!More by this author |
