Professionals make use of currently popular network security tools, such as GNU Privacy Guard, GNU Privacy Guard, BackTrack, Truecrypt, OpenVAS, Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), ClamAV, OSSEC, IPCop, and OKTA, among others to protect their organizations’ networks.

Engineers should have at least five years of experience in network security, besides a bachelor’s in engineering, science or mathematics. If they have an associate degree, an additional experience of two years is required.
