After nearly 12 months of waiting, Grim Dawn: Forgotten Gods has reached the tip of pre-release game development, and is also nearly prepared live. In a brand new trailer showcased just days ago, launch for that game was listed because of this March, and that is sure to both please ARPG fans, and throw their priorities in disarray — putting it directly in competition with all the upcoming Path of Exile: Synthesis season.
Forgotten Gods can be an expansion to POE Currency Crate Entertainment’s successful ARPG franchise, and was announced almost each year to this day back early March of 2018. The expansion assists as the second in the game developer since 2017, if this first released Ashes of Malmouth to “very positive” reviews on Steam.
The original Ashes of Malmouth expansion became a content-rich add-on that featured over 500 new item skill modifiers, 300+ new unique items, 48 additional quests plus a level cap increase to 100 (among other things). It’s often praised for upwards of-delivering on expectations using its massive update, that is a historical staple of expansions which has long-since been lost in today’s gaming climate.
While Forgotten Gods isn’t quite that Buy POE Currency expansive (“only” 300+ item skill modifiers, 180+ unique items and 36 quests electrical systems), it can attempt to form the difference using a whole new mode for more information on, and major quality-of-life improvements.
