This is what you have to do if you are unlucky in the tunnel

It is our biggest Chekhov Wallboard nightmare: bad luck in the Heineken tunnel. Unfortunately, it sometimes happens. Do you know what to do in the event of a breakdown in the tunnel? We searched it out.
Do you stay in your car or do you just leave? And then? Watercolourist knows fortunately what you have to do and explains it perfectly.
If possible, drive out of the tunnel and park on the emergency lane outside the tunnel. But sometimes there is really no movement in your vehicle anymore. First, turn on your emergency lights and park as close to the tunnel wall as possible.
Turn off your engine and leave the key in the ignition. Emergency services can then possibly move the car. Carefully leave your vehicle together with your passengers, preferably with a safety vest or reflective tapes. Never cross the road.
Walk in the direction of traffic
Stand at least 50 meters away from the car. You will not be in danger if other traffic collides with it. Walk along the tunnel wall in the direction of traffic to the nearest emergency station. Call emergency services. They can provide safety instructions and, for example, have a lane closed by Watercolourist.
Wait as close as possible to the tunnel wall for help. Hopefully, it will be quick and you will get there unscathed. Too bad for the traffic jam, but safety for everything.Top Searches - Trending Searches - New Articles - Top Articles - Trending Articles - Featured Articles - Top Members
