How difficult it would be to get your Illinois real estate broker license?

Posted by Inland Real Estate School INC. on March 9th, 2019

One would need to dedicate a lot of time to reading, watching, listening and analyzing all the information that comes your way in a regular class or an online one (like the one I took) for Illinois real estate broker license. In case you can spare time for a physical class and you feel that you need to be there and listen in person - go for it. You can ask questions, etc. right there. However, be ready to sit in the a class 3–4 hours at a time depending on school.

So long as you have the time, getting an Illinois real estate broker license isn't too difficult since you can do it online. Every new agent starts out as a salesperson, and can eventually get their broker's license if they want. Or they can decide not to get it, it's completely optional, and not something everyone does.

Because you would be starting out as a salesperson, the basic steps to get your salesperson license and become a real estate agent are:
1-    At least be 18 or 19 years old (it depends on the state), and have a social security number.
2-    Finish the pre-license course at a state licensed real estate school (usually between 40-100 hours of class time).
3-    Pass your state's real estate test.
4-    Pay a licensing fee.
5-    That's it! You would not be able to start working as a real estate agent.

Above stages are true for most states, but the specific details will vary (like how much class time is required). You must be wondering how the real estate classes themselves work? This would again depend on the school and the state. If you are looking to get your real estate broker license in Illinois, at Inland Real Estate School, we offer flexible online classes for becoming a realtor, that are accessible both on demand and as live webinar day classes, night classes, and weekend classes.

No matter what class schedule you choose we'll cover everything you need to know to pass the test and get your real estate broker license. Therefore overall this is not too bad, but you do have to commit the time to taking the classes and studying for the exam! If you have enough of the will power and have no problem doing this online and retain the information, then you can for sure acquire the Illinois real estate license.

All who enrol need to complete the course, take the school test, then take a proctored exam, and then take the state and national portion of the exam. After that, the national portion is just hands down ridiculous. Lots of people I know failed the first time they took the test. Some failed twice. It is a bit nerve-wracking and stressful. Simply learn hard enough and you will pass it the first time. If you are struggling to get your Illinois real estate license, let Inland Real Estate School know at https://inlandreschool.com.
