Owning a house can be a very good thing and also an achievement. As a landlord, you have the right to do whatever that you wish to do in the house and this means that you can bring down the house and put it up again to your style. However, it is easier said than done. Renovation which is said to be the process of changing the way that your house looks and appears is not an easy process. It requires a lot of skill and hard work in order to get it to the shape that you really desire it to be in.
HOW RENOVATION WORKS
Renovation is said to be more like building a new house. However, when you are building a new house, there is no sort of affixture or building already in existence on the land. In renovation, there is already the presence of a building on a land which you have to adjust by bringing down some areas in order to get your desired look. Now, in this case, you need to hire the services of an architect who will draw up a new plan in line with the settings of the former house. This plan will serve as a guide for renovation of the house. Now, after the architect has designed the building that is set to be erected in the place of the already existing building, the next thing that will come up is the actual demolition of the existing. It is good to note that the demolition all depends on the plan drawn up by the architect. There are some areas that do not need to be demolished and it all depends on the nature of the new building to be erected. When the demolition is done, the next step that will be involved is the construction of the building based on the architectural plan. Now, this process will involve the labourers using building materials to put up the necessary structures that are needed to be in place. When the structures are done, it all comes down to the final touch which includes: painting, plumbing and others.
IMPORTANCE OF RENOVATION
The importance of renovation needs not to be over – emphasized as there are a lot of great benefits that are attached to renovation. They include but not limited to the following –
CONVENIENCE – The old building might not have been built according to your specification and in line with the needed convenience. For example, there are people that would love to have a balcony in their homes but this was not able to be provided in the building when they bought it. The renovation process makes it possible to have that balcony that gives you that ease of convenience.
PROFIT – Renovation can be done to a house in order to increase its profitability. Take for example, a house wherein no tenants want to live in because of the fact that there is no proper ventilation system. A good renovation to the house will see to it that the house is airy and in this way more tenants would be attracted to the house.
