Spaghetti – 1 pocket

Bacon strips – 100 grams

Egg whites – 3

Egg yolk - 1

Grated parmesan – 100 grams

Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

The Making:

  •          Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the bacon until crispy.
  •          In a bowl, beat the whole eggs and the yolk. Add grated cheese and keep aside.
  •          Boil the spaghetti, drain the pasta and reserve some of the cooking
  •          In another saucepan, toss the pasta, egg mixture and bacon and any fat rendered from cooking the bacon, at low heat.
  •          Season the mix with salt, add the pasta water and remove away from the heat.
  •          Cook the sauce until creamy.
  •          The pasta is ready to eat.

Ingredients:

Pasta – 200 grams

Olive oil – 2 tablespoons

Chopped onion – 1 medium

Minced garlic – 1 tablespoon

Sliced mushrooms – 1 cup

Chopped spinach – 1 cup

Eggplant – 1 medium

Mixed olives – ½ cup

Chopped green chilies

Tomato puree – 1 cup

Grated cheese – 2 cups

Cream – 1 cup

Breadcrumbs – ½ cup

Butter – 150 grams

The making:

  •          Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes and then lay it on a tray/plate.
  •          Heat up some olive oil in a pan.
  •          Sauté onions, garlic, and chilies for 2 minutes.
  •          Add bell peppers and eggplant to the pan and sauté for 2 minutes. Then sauté the mushrooms, olives and the spinach.
  •          Cook for 5 minutes and pour into tomato puree and cream.
  •          Take the pan off and mix in the pasta.
  •          Mix in half the cheese and pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  •          Sprinkle the rest of the cheese with breadcrumbs. Add butter cubes over and let it bake for about 20 minutes.

Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients:

Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

Thick diced and cut bacon – ½ pound

Minced garlic – 1 to 2 teaspoons

Whole eggs – 3 to 4

Grated parmesan – 1 cup

Spaghetti pasta – 1 pound

Salt and pepper

The making:

  •          Boil a large pot of salted water.
  •          In a separate pan, heat olive at medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy and put into a large bowl.
  •          Next, beat the eggs and half the cheese.
  •          Once the water reaches the boiling level, cook the dry pasta.
  •          Toss the pasta with the bacon.
  •          Now add the beaten egg mixture.
