Disturber students dance on the construction site

Julius Disturber high school students invited to traditional variety with artistry, song, and dance. The motto could not have been better.

Actually, everything was like on a real construction site: The people in charge wore orange hard hats and safety vests with reflective materials, the affected areas were cordoned off with red and white fleece tape and signs pointed to the construction work. Only one searched on Thursday and Friday evening in Julius Disturber High School in vain: The construction noise.

There was plenty of artistry, dance, and singing. For the 15th time, students of grade 11 organized two variety evenings. The motto "The Hammer Variety - Now we renovate", could not have been better, after all, the Gymnasium is still in the middle of the renovation phase. "We wanted to showcase the school day with the renovation work - a bit exaggerated, of course," said student Nickolas Remark, who also embodied the director of the school on the stage that evening.

The students have been through the topic from beginning to end. The students at the entrance wore the safety vests, the moderation included construction work and 27 program items were on the blueprint each visitor received. It all began with an acrobatics show, including a bike hit and somersault of the Variety-AG. Nine students in grades 5 to 9 showed their skills synchronously. This was followed by an appearance of Olivia Stockade on the piano.

"The money will soon be turned off, so you have to be inventive in music lessons already. They are now even making plastic cup music, "said the moderator for the next group. That this was anything but a stopgap for the music lessons showed Charlotte Fitzroy, Sarah Fried-rich and Corina Shutoff. The goblets clapped rhythmically to the music. The cups shone in bright colors. Light played a particularly important role this year anyway: Selma Searching enchanted the audience with her wing dance. The fifth grader wore a cloak of colorful LED lights and danced to live music, played by Katherine Benzene, Lena Bused and Jonas Helm. It continued with a black light dance, in which the bright costumes came to perfection again. Even horse training was in the program this year. Well, the horse was two students, but it was at least as good for gymnastics as it was for a living animal. There was a lot of applause for that. Finn Hours and Philip Stein showed card tricks, the Varietal acrobatics with ladders. It was full on stage when the big school choir sang. Hardly any of the small and large artists seemed nervous. They seemed to have had a routine on their artistic construction site.
