I was the first paladin to wow classic gold hit 60 on my vanilla WoW Classic host, mostly because I grinded in areas people didn't mill so I wasn't fighting spawns or being ganked. Being a warrior in 60 is dreadful, unless you're the main tank you won't get gear until your primary tank is fully geared, even though theorethically your own dps could be great, how the hell are you going to arrive if you don't receive the equipment? In WoW Classic in case you don't have a healer you're among the most vulnerable courses, as soon as you have one you glow like a bright star but without equipment and with no healer you're a miserable lump of coal. Obtaining a warrior into 60 is no big deal, Maintaining a lvl 60 warrior is the problem, you're not likely to have handouts for a long time either.

As far as the WoW Classic ranks go, I believe you are simply contemplating dueling and open world WoW Classic although not taking the class roles in BGs into account that much.
