Several Problems About Induction Heating And Quenching Process

Posted by BalunShu on March 23rd, 2019

Today, I will give you a brief introduction about the problems of induction heating quenching process.

1. Make it Sure About The Technical Requirements For Induction Hardening And  Quenching Parts.

The surface hardness of the parts after induction heating is related to the chemical composition and the use conditions of the material. The depth of the quenching layer is mainly determined by the mechanical properties of the parts. According to the different geometry of the parts and the working conditions, the parts and sizes of the hardened areas of various surface hardening parts have different requirements. According to the material and working conditions of the parts, we can specify the standard level ranges.

2. The Selection Of Heating Temperature For Induction Heating And Quenching

Induction heating quenching has quick speed. Compared with general heating, it is necessary to choose a higher heating speed. The suitable heating temperature is related to the chemical composition of the steel, the state of the original tissue and the heating speed;

3. The Selection Of Induction Heating And Quenching Equipment Frequency

When the equipment frequency is given or selected to be an non adjustable parameter, the selection of induction heating and quenching frequency is mainly determined by the depth of the quenching layer and the size of the parts;

4. The Induction Heating Method And The Process Operation.

① The same time heating method: this method means that the surfaces are heated at the same time simultaneously, the heated surface in the whole part needs to be surrounded by the sensor. In mass production, in order to give full play to the potential of the equipment and improve the production efficiency, as long as the output power of the equipment is sufficient, it can be heated at the same time as much as possible.

② The continuous heating method: the continuous heating and cooling of parts is lasting. The continuous heating leads a lower production rate, but the heating area is reduced, and the power of the equipment is also reduced, thus it will help to expand the application scope of the equipment.

5. The Cooling Mode After Induction Heating And quenching

The injection cooling mode: it is a common method to cool things into the liquid. It is mainly used for heating at the same time. When the surface is heated, the surface can be put directly into the water and then pour the oil to get things quenched; if adopt the continuous heating method, in order to avoid the oil smoke, we can lower the level of  sensor to the oil surface to get it heated and cooled continuously;

Dongguan Lihua mechanical induction heating and quenching equipment has fast heating speed, high production efficiency, good product quality, and relatively high technical content. Only the combination of theoretical knowledge and production practice can be a good result of the future work, Lihua machinery is willing to carry hands with you to create the future!
