Everything you need to know about Joint Entrance Examination

The Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by National Testing Agency. Candidates, who wish to take admission in NIT’s, IIT’s or any other renowned institute attempt this examination. One, wanting to sit in this examination will have to apply for the same. The procedure of applying for JEE consists of many important steps first of which is the submission of the application form. The procedure of the submission of the application form involves a step of the fee payment. After the candidate has done with the formality of the application form and fee payment, he/ she will be able to gain the admit card. Some days after the release of the admit card, the authority will conduct the examination.

A few days post the conduct of the examination, the candidate will be able to get the jee main 2019 response sheet. The response sheet will be including the answers marked by one in the examination. One, who wants to know about his/ her performance in the exam can access the response sheet. Post the release of the response sheet, the answer key shall get published. Through the answer key and the response sheet, the applicants will be able to evaluate his/ her marks in the examination.

What is JEE MAIN?

JEE MAIN is a state-level examination. It is conducted in order to provide admissions under various Engineering and Medical examination. Various IIT’s, IIM’s and other renowned institutes participate in this examination. One, who qualifies the examination will be getting a chance to pursue their aspired education in these institutes.

Who can sit in this examination?

The authority has decided a specific eligibility criterion for the candidates who want to sit in the examination. The applicant must make sure that they are possessing the eligibility criteria as per the prescribed criterion. The basic criterion is mentioned below:

The applicant must have born on or after 1st October 1993.

He/ she must have secured at least 75% in his/ her qualifying examination. 

Can anyone challenge the answer key?

Yes, the candidate will be getting a chance of challenging the answer key. In order to do the same, the applicant will have to follow certain steps. The steps will be involving the submission of a form, regarding the same and then paying the mandatory amount of fee.

What after challenging the answer key?

After the candidate challenges the answer key, the authority will work on it and a few days post the same, NTA shall release the official answer key. After the release of the official answer key, the authority will not be taking any further doubts.

What is Response Sheet?

The response sheet is a document which contains all the mandatory details related to the performance of the candidate in the examination. The JEE MAIN Response Sheet 2019 will be releasing the response sheet after the conduct of the examination. The response sheet shall be containing all the answers (whether correct or incorrect) marked by one in the examination.
