How to Use an iPad or iPhone as a WiFi Router or Modem

If your long range WiFi Router is not working properly as expected and you are stuck in a middle of something, then you also make your iOS device and start using it as a Modem. To use your older iOS device as a WiFi Router or Modem, you need to set up personal hotspot on your iPhone or iPad device. How to Start Using iPhone as a WiFi Router

Make sure to turn on your Bluetooth and mobile internet on your iOS device first because without turning on your cellular data personal hotspot will not work.

Setup Personal Hotspot on iPhone or iPad

Step #1: Launch Settings App on your iOS device.

Step #2: Now, tap on Personal Hotspot.

Step #3: Next, Enable Personal hotspot switch.

On the screen you will also find WiFi Password, you will have to enter this password on your laptop or tablet.

Once you are connected, you will see a blue bar on the top of the iOS device. From that blue bar, you can also check how many gadgets are connected with your personal Hotspot network.
