ms ramaiah institute of technology  is an ISO-9001:2008 compliant organization, which was established with the intention of delivering global quality technical education delivered through a conducive learning environment.  A part of the Gokula Trust, MSRIT was started in 1962, the institution witnessed a rapid growth in the early period from 1962-1972 when the civil engineering department was started and again from 1972-1982, when the Electronics and Communication Departments were started.  In the decade of consolidation from 1982-1992, Instrumentation Technology division was added. The college saw a decade of expansion from 1992- 2002 when Telecommunications engineering was added followed by the decade of excellence from 2002- 2012 and earned it’s autonomous status in 2007-2008.
